Conference & Nie Nie

This weekend we had a few guests come through! My Aunt Karen, cousin Kanoe and Case all graced me this weekend. Karen's birthday was on Saturday and she wanted to go to Conference, so we stood outside the Conference Center yelling "have extra tickets!" And we got them, and managed great seats too! Afterwards we met up with Case and went to Park City for Main Street Pizza & Noodle and a carmel apple. It was so good to see them.
Me, Karen and KanoeKaren after she scored her tickets.
Case you're looking great, like a tall glass of water.
Today on Oprah, Nienie was featured and her story is so inspiring. Erica and I discussed how anxious we were to watch it. I remember a year ago when Erica called me and said "Nie Nie got in a plane crash." Reading her and CJane's blogs, I feel like I know them. Today while watching Oprah, I sobbed. I sobbed at how beautiful Nienie looked, and how amazing her family is, and how she chose the "hard" life. With everything that she has been through she truly looked happy. I can't get enough of her story and her amazing example.
